Fees
Our firm favours transparency and predictability in setting its fees. The aim is to allow our clients not to incur costs they cannot anticipate, while guaranteeing them the highest level of quality they can expect from their lawyer.
Our fees are therefore set in agreement with the client according to one of the following methods, or a combination of them:
Hourly billing
Hourly rate agreed in advanceHourly rate set with the client
Estimate of hours communicated
Billing by successive advances
Possible share of the outcome
The firm bills its work on the basis of an hourly rate agreed in advance with the client, applied to all the work undertaken on the matter. An estimate of the hours required is provided before the matter is handled, to allow the billing of successive advances. In certain cases where the assignment lends itself to it, part of the fee may correspond to a percentage of the expected outcome.
Fixed fees
Capped amount, set in advancePredetermined assignments or services
Capped in terms of time spent
Reduction on the hourly rate
Possibly renewable
The firm may offer fixed fees, possibly renewable, for predetermined assignments or services. These are calculated and capped in terms of time spent, based on an estimate of the time required to perform the projected services. This type of fixed fee allows clients to benefit from a reduction on the hourly rate normally applicable, within the determined time cap.
Subscriptions
Monthly or quarterly fixed feeOngoing legal support
Monthly or quarterly fixed fee
Services set by agreement
Personalised quote beforehand
For disputes or proceedings extending over time, but also for the regular and optimised monitoring of companies, wealth or complex legal situations, the firm offers subscription plans: a monthly or quarterly fixed fee for determined services. The signing of an agreement is preceded by a personalised discussion in order to establish a quote.
Regular postage costs are included in the fees, within reasonable limits. All other costs and disbursements are billed separately (express and registered mail, bailiff fees, court registry fees, travel and accommodation costs if required by the matter, local correspondents outside the Paris Bar, etc.).
